Linda Nevill (BA Hons, MA Hons) has been working as an artist for many years, responding to a range of influences. Sometimes these are social issues such as homelessness, war, social control in the workplace or work/life balance. At other times she has worked on landscape images exploring atmosphere, light, moods and memories of landscape experienced when travelling abroad or in the UK. Through her choice of subject matter, composition, colour and mark making she aims to convey the intensity of her feelings to others.
In 2017 Linda had her etching 'Bare Mountain' selected to be part of the Victoria and Albert Museum permanent collection. Her drypoint print 'From here to there' was chosen to be part of the Printmakers Council national archive.
Her etching 'Homed and Homeless' won the WSA Elsie Holland prize for outstanding artwork.
In 2018 Linda was elected Associate Member of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists.
