I frequently take exercise on the South Staffordshire Railway Walk in Wolverhampton which starts nearby at Castlecroft and runs for five and a half miles to Wall Heath. It was originally part of the Wombourne Branch Line built between 1912 and 1925 by the Great Western Railway Company. It was closed in 1965 but now forms part of an important network of railway and canal paths.
